About the Boca Raton Jewish Experience and our Annual High Holiday Explanatory Services
We're delighted to invite you to this year's High Holiday Explanatory Services, held at the welcoming Zinman Hall on the beautiful campus of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.
Prepare to embark on a truly transformative journey, unlike any other High Holiday service you've ever attended, during these sacred days. We aim to redefine your experience, making it accessible and meaningful for everyone.
You might be wondering about the language of the service. Rest assured, we've assembled a custom-made Machzor (High Holiday prayer book) that seamlessly blends English and Hebrew. Every Hebrew prayer is thoughtfully transliterated into English, ensuring everyone can easily follow along.
Some of the tunes and melodies will be familiar and traditional, while others will be new. But fear not—we'll teach and explain each one, ensuring that you feel fully engaged in this extraordinary experience.
So, why choose our service? Let us ask you this: During Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, approximately 2 million American Jews attend High Holiday Services, but we understand that you may not have been among them in the past. It could be because you've disconnected from the prayers or the synagogue environment. We want to change that. The Boca Raton Jewish Experience and the Boca Raton Synagogue have created something special for you - a unique "High Holiday Beginners Service."
Join us for a welcoming, inclusive, and enlightening High Holiday experience. For more information, don't hesitate to contact Rabbi Josh Broide at (561) 702-3864. We look forward to celebrating these High Holidays with you!
My name is
Rabbi Josh Broide
Hi, I’m Rabbi Josh Broide, founder of the Boca Raton Jewish Experience. I’m passionate about helping people connect to Judaism in a warm, welcoming way. One fun fact—every year during our High Holiday services, someone tells me it’s the first time they truly understood what the prayers mean. That’s why we do this!
